Thanks to warmer weather and central heating, moths are hanging around for longer and their larvae are mighty eating machines . Here's a quick lepidopterology lesson (that's the study of moths to you and me😉) around 50 eggs are laid at a time, the larvae feast for 50 days, they become pupae and wrap themselves in a silken case and continue feasting, they become moths and carry on this cycle from May to October.
